Whilst free up to 20 minutes, the initial consultation time can be extended if required.

LEGAL SERVICES

FAMILY LAW

For marriages and defacto relationships and whether prior to commencing a relationship, or after separation and breakdown, these issues are always stressful and demanding. You owe it to yourself to receive early specialist legal advice and guidance on your rights and obligations in areas including --

  • Marriages or Defacto
  • Divorce / Separation
  • Children and parenting arrangements
  • Property division
  • Spousal or child maintenance or support
  • Prenuptial or cohabitation or separation agreements
  • Enforcement of orders
  • Domestic Violence

Family law is an increasingly complex and difficult area of the law. Not only must we be knowledgeable in legal issues, we must have the capacity to adapt our client's circumstances to the law, and then apply it using a combination of legal, negotiating and mediating, and personal skills.

Each case is unique and turns on its own facts. The free initial consultation will identify issues early.

ESTATE PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION

Personal legal services are a must for anyone to put their affairs in order both during their lifetime and for the benefit of their estate upon death.

Estate planning encompasses essentially the preparation of Wills, Testamentary Trusts, and Enduring Powers of Attorney during one's life. These should be regularly reviewed and amended as required.

Estate administration is essentially assessing and distributing one's estate after death. It can range from very simple to quite complex matters including family provision actions for or against disappointed beneficiaries who may have been left out or inadequately provided for in an estate.
